CARE INSTRUCTIONS
LIGHT: Peperomia glabella adapts well to medium indirect light and also does well in brighter conditions. It is more light-flexible than many peperomias. Avoid direct sun, which can bleach the leaves. A bright bathroom or kitchen window is a great spot.
WATER: Allow the top half of the soil to dry between waterings. Peperomia glabella has succulent-like, water-storing leaves and is highly susceptible to root rot from overwatering. Water thoroughly, then allow to drain completely and don't water again until the soil is partially dry.
SOIL & POT: Use a fast-draining potting mix — a blend of standard potting mix and perlite is ideal. Always choose a pot with drainage holes. This plant stays compact and does not need a large container.
SEASONAL TIPS: Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. This peperomia is an easy-care plant that tolerates some neglect — it will droop slightly when thirsty, which is a useful signal to water.
HOW THIS PLANT GROWS
Peperomia glabella has small, glossy, bright green oval leaves on slender, trailing or semi-upright stems. It has a compact, tidy habit and can trail softly over the edge of a pot. New growth often has a slightly reddish tint that matures to bright green.
GROW JOYFULLY
Glabella is one of those quietly beautiful plants — easy, tidy, and reliably green. It asks for very little and fits anywhere. A perfect plant for beginners and collectors alike.
